HEY! We aren't in Kansas anymore! Yes I am a "Toto Dog," a cute little black doggy to sit in your lap and play with your other pets. I am a little anxious and I am learning how to be a good girl in the house. Before I came to the rescue I was kept in a closet. I had very bad fur and my skin was infected. I got medicines and surgery. Now I'm doing great and my coat is doing great. I'm a very happy gal, other than I want a FOREVER HOME! Please visit me!
Chihuahua Rescue says: Cairn terriers are playful happy little dogs, like the little "toto" on The Wizard of Oz." Bizzi is no exception she is a wonderful happy pet who just wants to be in a loving happy home, she loves to have a lap too! She can be a little vocal so for that reason she should have a home that has people around and if she is in an apartment it needs to be considered that she might react to noise in the halls. She has a fair amount of energy so an active lifestyle would suit her well. She is a smallish dog at about 10lbs, vaccinated, spayed, heart worm negative and has a microchip. She is a lovely pet who will be a delightful companion. She may do better in a home with older kids or adults, she is fine with other pets and cats. Bizzi's adoption fee is $250

Chihuahua Rescue Indiana Inc. is a non profit, all volunteer rescue working with Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. The pets are housed in individual volunteer foster homes, not kennels or shelters until they are adopted permanently. We get to know our animals and therefore can tell the potential adopter what the traits of the animal are and what home would be the best for the pet. We are dedicated to the adoption, education, rescue and transportation of the Chihuahua breed. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. FINISH
