Lexie Lou Yoo-hoo! I'm a super spicy little gal, I LOVE people and I am Chihuahua, to the center of my soul. I can be as sweet as pie or bad to the bone. Not really "bad" I just have away of expressing myself that not everyone understands. So I guess what it means is that I "might" be a little obnoxious if another dog gets between me and my person, my blanket, my food, my kennel. Well I really don't like other dogs in my space. Since I don't enjoy encroachments on my space, its better that I don't share my space with small people who don't understand this or that the person who adopts me is well acquainted with littles like me. I'm just a tiny girl with a very BIG personality! I do love people though and I really want a place to BE forever! I hope you will give me a chance!
Chihuahua Rescue says: Lexi is not a terrible dog and for an experienced chi owner, she will be easy enough. She is house trained and crate trained, spayed, vaccinated, Heart worm negative and microchipped. She had her teeth cleaned and she is small and yet a very good eater. She needs to have an experienced owner willing to keep her out of trouble, as this little dog is a strong personality. Lexie weighs about 6# and is about 8 years old. Her adoption fee is $250.

Chihuahua Rescue Indiana Inc. is a non profit, all volunteer rescue working with Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. The pets are housed in individual volunteer foster homes, not kennels or shelters until they are adopted permanently. We get to know our animals and therefore can tell the potential adopter what the traits of the animal are and what home would be the best for the pet. We are dedicated to the adoption, education, rescue and transportation of the Chihuahua breed. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. FINISH
