Hi my name is Cricket! I used to live with so many other dogs and thankfully I was saved and have been learning how to live in luxury in my foster home. I have lived with dogs my whole life, and I love to be near them! I am shy at first but will warm up, just like I did with my foster mom. Since I never got real training I am still working on using the potty outside.
I will need help to learn about going outdoors, I get so scared of the outdoors, It's big and I'm just learning about it, so for that reason, I MUST have a fenced yard that is secure. I am so sweet and I will make a wonderful lap warmer once I learn you love me! Please think about giving me a place in your heart and home, I think we both would be SO happy!!!
Chihuahua Rescue Indiana says that anyone would be lucky to have Cricket, she has such a sweet spirit. She is around 9-10 years old. She was pulled from a hoarding situation and she is used to being around other small dogs, so we think a home with other small dogs would be best. She will eventually be a great lap dog but will take time to warm up. She has never been around cats but due to her personality, we don't anticipate any problems. She does well with kids but will do better in a home with children old enough to understand that she will take time to warm up to them. Her adoption fee is $250.00. This includes her vaccines, dental, spay, microchip and she is current on flea and heartworm prevention.

The pets are housed in individual volunteer foster homes, not kennels or shelters until they are adopted permanently. We get to know our animals and therefore can tell the potential adopter what the traits of the animal are and what home would be the best for the pet. We are dedicated to the adoption, education, rescue and transportation of the Chihuahua breed. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
