Isabella aka Izzi
Hi, I'm Izzi! My person left me at IACS. I really didn't like all the noise, and I caught kennel cough there. But the nice Chihuahua Rescue folks came to get me. I like living in a house with people and other dogs SO much more. I especially like cuddling with my human. Will you be my fur-ever person?
Chihuahua Rescue says Izzi was quite tiny and very thin at just 3.7 lbs when she came to us. She's had some badly needed dental work done and she is good to go. She has a great appetite and has reached her goal weight of just under 5 lbs.. Her potty training is reliable and she enjoys car rides. Izzi is crate trained now. She has a bit of an attitude and a lot of moxie and does stand up for herself with small dogs that are bigger than she is. If she feels threatened or thinks she needs to protect her human, she will snap at other dogs or humans; she would not be good with children under 10 years. She would do best in a quiet household with only 1 or 2 other pets. We estimate that she is over 10 years old, but she's pretty spry for an older lady. Her adoption fee is $250.

Chihuahua Rescue Indiana fosters dogs throughout the entire state. To see an immediate list of the dogs available please visit our Rescue Page on Adopt-A-Pet. to see more of our dogs. Chihuahua Rescue Indiana Inc. is a non profit, all volunteer rescue working with Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. The pets are housed in individual volunteer foster homes, not kennels or shelters until they are adopted permanently. We get to know our animals and therefore can tell the potential adopter what the traits of the animal are and what home would be the best for the pet. We are dedicated to the adoption, education, rescue and transportation of the Chihuahua breed. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. FINISH
